I have the S-View case that i rarely use, but i kinda want to use it again, but my biggest gripe is that i have the Spigen tempered glass protector on, and for me, it doesn't close totally with it on. is it just me, or am i doing something wrong?

Nope. These cases aren't meant to work with anything too thick on the screen, and the tempered glass protectors usually get in the way. You could try to align the protector differently so that it doesn't touch the case edges, but not sure that's gonna help much (or worth the trouble and potential ruin of your protector)
