Forgot my PIN lockscreen

Hi My pin was changed on my Samsung Galaxy s5. I have registered my device with Android central but for some reason it comes up with the message that there are "no active devices".Please help. Thanks in advance Fran

Hi I tried to set up my registration but wont accept my Australian zip code...therefore I cannot proceed with my registration. Pls help...thanks

Okay, so I have read through the entire thread and I am STILL locked out.
I have a Nexus 5, with a pin number lock (not pattern).
1)I cannot send my pin to my gmail account through my phone (this seems to only apply for pattern locks)
2) I have tried using the android device manager and setting a lock, by inserting a new password. This seems to have worked for many people,
but even when I put the new password in on the device manager, my phone still persists on saying "you have incorrectly typed your pin x number of times".

I don't want to factory reset!
Any other ideas of how to get in?!

Dave....can u help me in resetting my password without factory rest......Your post is good but wen I am searching for location it is saying that your device location acces is turned off....so its not showing my location..so can u please help me?? Can't reset because i have some important files in my phone memo...Dave please help

i have entered almost 130 times.but still it is showing PLEASE WAIT FOR 30Secs......Ap per your post it is not showing any pop up....can u please help me in this issue....

I used my gmail password fo the first try and later use another password and the system shows "locked by android device manager". when I entered the new password it showed "wrong password" again.

Omg!! I was just starting up my laptop for my google+ e-mail and then i just remembered my pin code.....how annoying is that!! Good luck remembering your pin code guys!!

No, no, no! If you hit lock it lets you choose a new password. But then it says, no need to change password because is already locked. Catch 22.

I wrote screenlock pin code (asdfgh), this morning when I turned on the cell phone is no longer operate this pin, each time a "wrong password"!
Android Device Manager, I can not remove this shĺt, because I can not turn on wifi!

OS: 4.4.2 NO-ROOT!!!

This has been the best advice out of anything else I read. It completely worked! No factory reset required and it is so easy
