As a former Pre user (well as soon as my Evo3D is delivered) Im just curious how many others made this jump.

i am a palm pre owner as well. I cant wait for this phone to come out. Hope its worth the wait, havent had a new phone in 2 years.

I missed out on the first Evo because I assumed a new webos phone was releasing soon...not making that mistake twice...

My whole family had pres and pixis so this will be a major change for us, both my wife and i have ordered the E3D

coming from a Pre as well. I have mine pre-ordered at the Sprint store and will get it Friday. I debated about ordering it on line, but decided I would just stick with the store.

I too was waiting for a new WebOS phone, but decided to just give that up as it looks like it is not happening any time in the near future.

People aways say "its not the the specs" that make a good phone.....yeah right

My wife and I have Pre phones. I have had mine since the month it came out and before that I have had palm hardware for the last 10 year. I have been loyal to the company for many years, and to be honest the only reason im with sprint is because of palm. With all that said it is time to move on. I will miss palm but am nervous and very excited about the android apps and the customizable platform and the capability of the phone. 3 more days.;)

I was first in line for my Pre- and I have the first appointment at BB for my EVO3d. Guess I'm no longer a Prefanboy. Although I still liked the Pre, it just didnt keep up with Technologic. My last 4 phones have been Palm.

Day 1 Palm Pre user here.
I've waited long enough for a GOOD WebOS device.
They had so much potential.
Oh well Android here I come

Day 1 guy here, too. I had high hopes. I even still was optimistic when Feb 9th rolled around. But by May, it was clear Sprint wouldn't see anything soon, and I needed a replacement. I wasn't going to jump carriers either.

The only thing that will stop me is if I can't deal w/ the larger sized phone... in that case, to the Nexus S I go. I do hope HP can make webOS work. I would like to be able to come back to a webOS phone one day

Had the pre from Day 1 , Speaker is shoot , keypay doesn't work anymore . The only way I can replay to a text is write it done on a piece of paper and then take a picture of it, an attached it as a reply, lol. I was looking at the pre HP 3 seems to only be coming to AT&T an verzion at the moment .So I will be moving to htc evo 3d.

Early Palm Pre adopter here. I had a cingular 8125, Blackberry, and a First Gen iPhone before the Pre.

I worked for Apple for two years, and constantly got made fun of for having the Pre, rightfully so. I did like that nobody ever bothered to pickup my phone and play with it, never had a passcode lock on it.

Problems with the Pre, squeeky keyboard (fixed w/ electrical tape), bad pixel in screen, power button spring (Fixed with white paper stuffed down in the hole), and terrible laggy performance all around.

Does anyone else remember someone at HP saying that HP would have some offerings for Palm Pre early adopters?

I plan on getting the Evo 3D and never looking back. O:-)

Waited in line opening day to get the Pre, had a Treo 650 before. (And a Zire 71, Handspring Visor Platinum, etc.)

Come tomorrow, this will be the first time in over 10 years without me carrying around a PalmOS device in my pocket on a day-to-day basis. And I don't miss it.

I wouldn't listen to anything HP said. They also said they'd never reveal a device too early ever again, and did the Pre 3 mishap. Also, remember back in February 2010, we were supposed to have Adobe Flash running. HA! What a putz I was for believing that.

Also, anyone check the trade-in price on the Pre for Sprint?
$5...

I think I'll go with my wife's idea of shooting a 3D video of me driving over it in my truck. I still keep my Zire, Handspring and Treo in a drawer, for whatever reason, but I do not want the Pre next to those devices.

i too am a launch day Pre Owner, and loved it a lot. although i am on my 9th Pre...thank god for the insurance....i am excited for this phone. my wife has a EVO and i have been playing with that.

i have seen a app review of a app called "itchy thumbs" i believe, and it is supposed to make the android work with cards and multi task. does anyone have any experience with th

I bought my Pre-Piece-of-Cheap-Plastic-minus in September 2009. At first I used to like it, it was easy to use but as I become more and more familiar with Android and iOS I began to question the decision I made to buy the Pre-. Now I hate it so much, it is useless, it is slow. WebOS has no usefull apps at all. Palm and HP abandoned us. They used to have my full support but after not hearing anything new about WebOS devices I became tired of waiting.

I will NEVER buy another WebOS phone. It has been a terrible phone. My Pre phone was replaced about 9 times, or around there, to be honest I have lost count.

I was thinking about waiting until this fall to get the iPhone on Sprint if the rumor turned out to be true, but with the iPhone most likely being a 3G phone I have decided that I will go with the EVO 3D plus I already own a 4th Generation iPod touch. I will be using my EVO 3D to tether my iPod Touch and that way I will be getting the best of both worlds!!!

I will, however, have to wait until July 1st as that is the day I am elegible for the upgrade! Waiting a week after the realease date will definitely be worth it!

ANDROID HERE I COME!

Well rumor is that HP may license out webos to other phone manufactures, so ya never know HTC might have a webos device some day...

Yep, had my Pre for 2 long years now. It was nice the first 3-4 months but after 6 and especially 9 you could tell it was abandoned more or less. I'll be glad to move on.
