Actually, at ~7Mbps download, you aren't going to notice any difference in web page loading (unless you're going to something with a RIDICULOUS amount of video/graphics) compared to ~13Mbps . I would think that it's a browser difference.

Not to say that the wireless overall isn't lacking compared to other devices... but how much of an effect that actually has on something like web browsing is pretty slim (at least at the speeds you're talking about).

when I compared 720p review flash videos from gsmarena.com on both my prime and GSII I can see that they stutter a bit on the Prime while they play fine on my phone... so it may be a browser or maybe wifi or both... lets hope ICS will bring fixes to those issues. I'm not complaining about browser performance in general but there is a noticeable lag.... not mention it FCs from time to time

So, now apps won't download or update from the market. Not sure what's going on.

So, I had two gmail accounts on the prime and when I removed the second it started downloading again.
That shouldn't be an issue. Going to try putting it back on and see if it happens again.

Actually, I had that as well. I can update apps fine, but downloading a new app that I just purchased on the tablet, that has quite a bit of lag between pushing "Accept purchase" and waiting for it to actually go through and begin downloading for real, even though it will sit and hang at "Downloading". I credited it to the funky wifi and just left the tablet alone for 5 minutes. Came back and one out of two purchases were finally downloading. After that one finished, it took another 2 or 3 minutes for the next purchase to begin downloading.

Fortunately I don't purchase things from the market on a daily basis, so I don't mind. Hope your issue is the same as mine.

Next to my router, I get a good -45 signal. As I type this I am downstairs from my router and a good 40 feet away. My signal here is between -80 to -85. Not great,but servicable.

...However with the last statement from Asus about GPS performance I'm now a bit concerned if the WIFI signal is also being obstructed by the poor back casing/design rather than just a software driver...

Have Asus said something regarding this issue?
I did not know... Pls let me know.
I am truly interested in the feedback coming from you guys because I an still trying to decide if I will be buying this tablet or I will have to look for another model...

Well, to address a post above, mine was not downloading at all. No progress on the tablet, just said "downloading" and stopped.

I added back the additional account and downloads are still working. Might have been a fluke and something got messed up. Will update if it happens again.
