Foxfi with HTC phones?

When looking ion the Play store it says that FoxFi will work on HTC phone with ICS.
I have ICS on my rezound via the first leak, but i still cant connect to my computer with foxfi wireless hotspot. Haas anyone gotten better results?

install Foxfi on the phone and PDAnet Tablet on the tablet...
There are detailed instructions included with FoxFi that tell you how to do the set up. You will need PDAnet Tablet on whichever Android tablet you are using. They even offer instructions to connect a computer as well.

I tried following the directions on the link, but I dont have the option to connect to the internet when the bluetooth box opens. Can you help with that?

I would like to try to connect my Tbolt to my Nexus7.
Will try this when i get home and will post up my results.

I have used PdaNet 3.50 and works pretty good. Usb tether to a laptop using my HTC Thunderbolt.

Sent from my HTC Thunderbolt using Android Central Forums

I am trying to connect a Thunderbolt to a Nexus 7. I am not rooted. I installed FoxFi on my phone and PDANet Tablet 2.20 on the Nexus 7. WifFi mode cannot be used. It says "WiFi mode can not be activated on HTC phones due to an HTC hotspot lock. Please use Bluetooth Mode instead". OK. So I turned on Activate Bluetooth DUN and connected PDANet on the Nexus to my phone through Bluetooth.
According to the directions I should now be tethered to my phone through Bluetooth. I see the connection but I cannot get on the internet.

On my tablet, Bluetooth is on, but WiFi is off. I turned it off so it wouldn't still be on my WiFi network. Does WiFi need to be on, even though the tablet is connecting to the phone through Bluetooth? If not, any idea what is wrong?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hmm i noticed that i cannot download apps while using this.
Anyone else able to?
Using my N7 and Tbolt via Bluetooth.

Well, i set mine up via Bluetooth. The instructions even state that if you have an HTC phone, it wont work with WIFI.
I did the BT option and made the N7 discover the Tbolt. Which it found.
After that, just activate and I am on.
Certain things i notice do not work such as Google Talk, HQ YouTube. I am still messing with it.
Make sure that your N7 has PDANET Tablet App. and FOXFI for your phone.
If you need step by step instructions, it will have to wait till i get home.
