[Kernel]FPS 'fix' for Epson AND Nova screens (No need for evo switch!) Version 3.6.2 - xda-developers

Pretty Interesting Thread...

No more "Dirty" Hack for the FPS Issue

55 FPS with Epson and Nova Results may Vary...

I will Wait about a Week see how this progresses then Flash...

Or I might just do it because I get Bored at work at times...

Either way another Fix for us to Exploit and Enjoy

UPDATE 1: I gave in... Couldn't Resist :p

Testing now... I'll see whats up

UPDATE 2: K wellllll That was a waste of time for me... I Averaged about 22 - 30 FPS

Screen Lag was Insane and barely Usable... Kinda Felt like Stock again... Flashing back now

UPDATE 3: Dont Forget to Flash for Wifi... Opps :p Flashing to fix again haha

I just flashed it. Seems to be working fine to me, the search box is lagging a little bit though. I didn't have to flash Wifi, I am running Damage Control.

Eh the Kernel Ran Reallllllly Slow for me... I was limited at one point to 22 FPS

If it works for most then my Thread is Useful :p

I'll try again later i guess... Im back to the Dirty Hack which i needed to Flash over the Wifi N

I am averaging 40 FPS. Not too bad, but not that huge of an improvement either. I'll stick with it until I flash Cyanogen's ROM.

Any news on that?

I Dont feel like Searching thru XDA for that Thread

None unfortunately. I subscribed to his twitter, and it sounds like he is getting work done but there is no ETA yet. I can't wait for the damn thing to come out. I also had the pleasure of finding this guy.

Please forgive me as I am a total noob when it comes to this. Can I please get a step by step process on how to get this applied on my EVO which I just rooted using Unrevoked3?

I can't figure it out for the life of me.
