Free Accessory From Samsung With Galaxy Note 8 Purchase (Trade-In Offer From Galaxy Note 7)

So, Samsung (on multiple occasions) has told me that they are going to either be sending out gift cards or promotional codes for those prior Galaxy Note 7 owners who signed up to do the trade-in for the Galaxy Note 8.

Can someone please provide some more information about this?

How is this actually going to work?

I haven't yet bought the Note 8 (but my cart still allows the discount with trade-in) and I know I'm on a list to still qualify for the free Samsung Gear 360 camera because I first started calling prior to the September 24th deadline.

How is it going to work with obtaining the free accessory? Is it possible they'll send me a gift card soon and I can do the full purchase for everything at once (or better yet, use it toward the cost of the Galaxy Note 8)?

I have no idea what you are talking about. I have heard of the sd card/charger/camera freebie, but don't know about the rest. I went through a carrier.

No, they won't send you a GC. The freebies come right from Samsung, as does the phone.
