Frequent reboot on Note 7

Hello all,

I've a problem with my new Note 7 just received yesterday...everytime, the phone reboot alone, then I reach a page asking my in, then verifying android, then there is icon with cadenas, then it boot to android...then after some time, again and again...

Anyone facing same issue?

Have you loaded any apps into it? I ran into an issue with Plume when I transferred the app from my S7 Edge; every time I opened it, it caused the phone to reboot. I did a factory reset and installed Plume from scratch (instead of transferring) and I haven't had the issue.

If the reboot is always at the same time of day, you might want to check the reboot settings on your phone (I believe there's one where you can set it to auto-reboot periodically to keep things 'fresh').

I had the issue yesterday so this morning I did reset factory

After that I've used Smart Switch connecting my old iPhone to the samsung to transfer messages, contacts, photos...

Then I've started to install several application yes, and it was good...

but this afternoon, I was installing TuneIn application, then during the install the phone freeze then restart....since, I can see the phone always in black screen, asking for my pin, then it moved to a screen with a cadenas...after some second it boot on Android.

I will try to uninstall TuneIn and see...

I don;t know what to think...I've installed it, then after that restart didn't happened...then I re install it during during it installations, I've search for another application and the phone restart !....

So I was thinking that this app is problematic...

In fact it is not, I've started another app download, and during its download, I search for another app, and the phone freeze and restart !

But this restart is different than the manual restart we used to do...during the restart, it is asking the PIN, and writing verifying, then starting android, there is a screen with opened padlock, and green circle around moving...

Try factory resetting the phone again, but this time don't do the smart switch. Does it help? I'm wondering if there's something from the transfer that's causing the issue (since my issue came from transferring an app with Smart Switch).

what I did now, I removed all application that I installed, like after reset factory now...

and do the same manipulation, installing app and searching for another one in parallel, no reset at all...then I proceed again but with multiples installation, then the phone restart !

My store is telling me that they can replace the phone for me...I will go to change it

Yeah, sounds like a reasonable choice. Maybe there IS a problem with your device. Hope the new one works and you get it soon!

They proceed with refund...they told me no more stock and one person faced same issue...

The release it yesterday here.

In all, thanks for your kind support and time.
