From BB to Incredible (Have issues, need help, advice)

I to am jumping ship on my storm. I believe the only thing ill miss is BBM. However once I get this new phone, I dont think ill miss it long. Im new to the droid phones and have a question that might be silly to some. These apps out for the Motorola droid and other droids, will they work with the Incredible? Because I really like that google earth

whenever i switched smartphones (bb/winmo/android) i had to format the sdcard for the new device to be able to read it. the new device wouldn't read files that were written with a different OS

im also a bb user and thinking of switching over to the Incredible as well. I was wondering if the android platform support foreign language and allow foreign language input like chinese, japanese, etc?

Not sure about the BDM thing. I believe that a member offered a solution to syncing with Outlook. Hopefully either you can find it or a member can assist.

Made the Leap....BB Curve to Incredible

I am confident I made the right choice.

Wanted the Iphone without the poor network. I think the Incredible meets my requirements.

could be neat, personally i don't see the advantage over something like AIM/gtalk though

you can have chat rooms, from what ive found you cannot have a chat room with gtalk or share pics like you could with bbm.

yeah i think most of the people i talk to via BBM have gtalk too. Its hard to get everyone to switch to yet another messenger service

i've never owned a smartphone.. i was waiting on the new Blackberry Tour2/Bold to be released on Verizon.. but then I saw some of the specs.. then I saw the Incredible's specs.. yeah. ordered my droid incredible on 4/19 lol. trying to kill time until thursday

Fellow storm owners, I'm also moving from Storm 1 to the Incredible! Can't wait for a phone that I don't have to bat pull twice a day because it was built with enough memory to support its operating system.
