From Twitter: "Thunderbolts are go!!!!"

People who have been on a smartphone with data for a while and are used to it. They won't be trying to justify $45/month they will be justifying $15/month extra for great speeds. I'm not saying that $45/month is acceptable just that people will still go for it that have been on a $30/month data plan on Verizon with (if you're lucky) 1-ish mbps.

I hear ya. And really, I'd pay $45/month but no higher. And that's only because I have no internet connection at home or work of any kind.
So I use my phone in place of a computer. I have a crappy old PC that someone gave me (which was really nice) and I tether my BlackBerry to that if I really need to use a computer.

So I use about 2-3 GB of data a month on my BlackBerry. $45 would be worth it to me.

I'd rather $30 though!!!

Exactly. I really wouldn't mind having the calling and texting with wifi and no data if Verizon would allow it. I love android and couldn't see leaving it due to price, especially if that meant going to a dumbphone. *shudders*

I've been trying to monitor my data usage on my laptop for just over a month now, and it looks like I'm averaging 15-25gb/month. That's some HD Youtube content, some files and basic browsing. I agree with $45/month, but it absolutely has to be unlimited. I cant be paying $10/GB if I were tethering

We will probably see an official release date some time this week, but I doubt will get this week. With bad buzz around the phone they need to flood the media with release date for week or more to get the momentum back in their favor. If they just show release date for few days then they will have lackluster launch number wise. The reason being because people have been waiting, but had to hear delay after delay. Furthermore features missing from TBOLT as well problems with phones performance as well that will make first time buyers weary. Verizon/HTC will need to build back up the rep phone has lost in their commercials even try to dispel problems with the phone.

uh oh! hearing this from him isnt good lol

Not good at all. From what I heard they were gonna offer $30 unlimited at TB launch. Once LTE evolves they would start tiered plans based on speed like they do with FIOS. BMX told me that the person I talked to needs to check in with Finance. Kinda concering.

I'm not sure how they can raise prices right now since their competition with AT&T just got much more direct.

Ok, now you're just dreaming...lol

Would be nice though.

can a brother dream lol

ill pay 250 for the phone. 45 is pushing it on monthly, but i get 30% off my monthly bill, ill save about 50-60 bucks with my family plan

just getting pricey, all at the same time im tryin to buy a car.

Isn't that what all companies do? They won't lower prices ever! They may offer limited time deals or promos.

Dish Network just raised all their packages to match DirecTVs! D'oh.

man, no unlimited 4G would kill this phone for me. I already pay for a Pantech LTE aircard that is capped at 5GB...no way I'll do the same on my phone. I nearly hit 5GB every month on my D2 with no tethering. I can only imagine with more throughput...

lol i think its funny when Panda posts a thunderebolt related tweet and its like armegeddon in the forums trying to decipher it........
