I have had my Desire for 2 weeks now and whilst it is a very well built phone with great apps i do miss the card view and UI of WebOS. Of course the only things i don't miss about WebOS are the terrible way the phones ahve been built and the lack of any truly decent apps.

So far i have enjoyed the experiance with the Desire and look forward to some more great built ohones from HTC but can i ask are there any apps i should have as a must have?

So far i have:

Catch that bus, London Journey, Travel Journey from Direct Gov, Sky News, Shopper, TV Guide, movies, compass, woZZon, Photowall, 3g watchdog, Shazam, Ocado, Opentable, Virtual Swanage, Google Earth, Myplayer, Hotelsbyme, ebuddy, barcode scanner and 0870.

I am a former WebOS user and I am seeing sooo many holes in the Andriod OS... Kinda disappointed.

every phone have plus and cons.

My top apps: Betterkeyboard(paid), Android System Info, Chrome to phone, Color Note, Dropbox, Shazam, Skype

I know of an app that you ex-WebOS members might like. It is called "itching thumb" and it is a task manager for your apps. Why might you guys like it? The reason is because it uses the basic idea of the card system to manage your running apps. Another reason you might like it is because it is free so you can give it a shot without anything to lose.

I tried to search for a video on youtube to show you guys and this is the best one I could find. Just somebody showing you what it does without any words though. Hope it helps satisfy your WebOS multitasking needs. Good luck guys

Hi everyone.. New to Android. Waiting on my Motorola Photon to arrive. I am a day one PalmPre user and really loved it. I hope I will enjoy this just as much. I look forward to this community.
