Front camera will not work and the icon has disappeared from the app on Droid Turbo 2

Front view camera no longer works, icon to switch to front camera has disappeared on Droid Turbo 2, Verizon say's they have no issues with front camera and that I must have done some kind of damage to the phone...Not.

If it's persisting in Safe Mode, then either the firmware has become corrupt, or there's a hardware problem.
