Front Facing Camera ... What's the focal length?

Hi, so I've looked everywhere but somehow it's not mentioned anywhere, not even on Google's own product page. I'd like to know the focal length (preferably in 35mm equiv.) of the front facing (or selfie) camera.

It's perhaps one of the more important specs, for a camera+lens module, beats me why no one is mentioning it anywhere. Instead they're busy publishing pixel sizes as if that tells anyone a bloody thing; leave it to us to decide how well it perform in low light. Anyways, I'm hoping it's wider than I'm used to.

Anyone know?

From the Google Product page, when you click on Details and specs

Front Camera
8MP camera
1.4 µm pixels
f/2.4 aperture
HD video capture (30 fps)

Yeah I've been to that page, the focal length isn't there.

They only mention the resolution, pixel size, aperture ... I can't seem to find the focal length anywhere (it would be measured in 'mm' or alternatively they just give FoV in degrees).

Alternatively, if anyone has the 6P can you please share a selfie picture taken at arm's length? I can judge the focal length/field of view from that I suppose. I don't have a store near me to try out the phone.

Took some pics with the front facing camera and in the details it reports 3.406mm

Thank you!

That means the front facing camera has a focal length of 25.9mm (in 35mm equivalent). Not bad at all. Actually pretty damn wide.

God damn it, I guess I'm spending $600 on a phone.
