front facing flash doesn't work.. help

hello there. i need your help.. after my samsung galaxy j3 updated, front facing flash doesn't work in some camera apps. ex. in instagram. when i'm trying to take boomerangs or videos with front flash, it isn't turning on but when i'm using just my phone's camera, front flash working. please help me. thanks.

Clear your cache partition and reboot. If still persists, uninstall then reinstall each app. If after that not resolved, try in safe mode. If it doesn't work there, you need either an os redo or you have a hardware problem. Good luck.

The person said it's working with the stock camera app, so that should rule out hardware issues. I agree with your other suggestions, but it also may be that those other apps are not updated to be compatible with the latest versions of the OS. So it may be a good idea to contact the developers of those apps for help as well.

Very true. I see lack of developer tweaking between different handsets on multiple apps which I suspect will get worse initially with pie before it gets better.
