they should have said you'll get froyo before hell freezes over

It fits with the supposed two to three week delay due to an exchange bug, though.

It's all speculation anyway.

ya but it is almost the same OS as the D2 and i haven't heard of any problems with that form of froyo
nor has there been any great bricking from any of the leaked froyo releases

so it's kind of hard to believe that there's a big problem with DX foryo

Yeah I'm moving to New Orleans in Jan so I'll probably end up getting the first 4G Droid and then I can start complaining about not getting Honeycomb

Ok...I'm reallyyy looking forward to this Adobe/Moto event today. I mean, they HAVE to release it after showing us that picture of the X running Flash (and a stock notification bar?!?)

I was under the impression that the image on Droid-Life was one that they just chose to put up and not one released by either Motorola, Verizon, or Adobe.

So I wouldn't read too much into that image.

Ok, I know I said I could wait before...but man, I'm starting to "wiggle my legs like I have to pee" now as well...really want that flash. When my friend with the mytouch slide gets it and I still don't have it, I think i'm gonna freak out a little bit. All I can say is, I hope there are a crapton of tweaks and fixes specific to the x to justify the wait. But then again, I will probably just say, "oooo, flaaaash!!!"

Droid X update

Ok, time to get back into the frenzy.

My DInc has been running Froyo for a couple of weeks, now. My wife, who has a D.X, doesn't even know what Android is, much less which version she's running. Occasionally, she'll ask me "Why doesn't my phone do that?", and I have to try again to explain the difference between HTC Sense and MotoBlur, and Android 2.1 and Android 2.2. Still, I figure that, since I love her, I will be frantic for her, and start keeping an eye on this thread for news of the Froyo release for D.X, which I do expect to see in the not too distant future.

Am I crazy enough to be here?
