Read it in this forum , I cant remember the thread I read so many about lol but someone posted saying vzw I think said , some bug that was causing an issue on the D2 /D1
That article is total bull****. I don't have Bing on my phone not sure what the author is talking about.
i think that im going to get rid of my X im tired of the fulse promissis

What false promises are you talking about? They said "late summer". Summer ends on the 23rd. We have not reached that yet. Cool the **** down.
Yeah, get rid of the best phone out there, even on 2.1. It's so worth getting an inferior device because you can't wait for an upgrade. Heck, get the Palm Pre. I'm sure that is a way cooler device.

Well, the X is able to pull updates so when it's released you'll get it.

I don't beleive they ever said which end of summer, Northern hemisphere or Southern, if the latter then they have until March 1st. 
Matt was very forthcoming in his comments that Cory linked and it is very much appreciated. Somehow, somewhere in the future, there should be some kind of readily available connection to him and/or another source of reliable information. Until this link, for the bulk of us, it's been difficult - if not impossible - to find any source of news on 2.2 ... other than that one paragraph Matt wrote way back in August.
Thank you Matt for your comments and maybe, in the future, there can be a clearer way to find the right person(-s) with the right information. Speculation gets no one anywhere. Thank you, Matt, and I really mean that.

well here we all are awaiting on the release of 2.2 "FROYO" now with 2 days left of summer
i now see that motorola is taking a play from Rim "blackberry" get the product sold to the coustomers and not support it
the one thing that everyone has forgoten is that very shortly after X's release both moto &verizion stated that the End of life for both the X and droid 2 was going to be in march so why are we drod x users sticking with a product that both the manufacture have deamed not worth keeping around any longer then a few months
