Ok. I just ordered a replacement X 'cause mine loses its 3G after a couple of days and only a wipe fixes it. I am getting really good at wipes now, but still... My wife got one too and hers is solid.

So replacement warranty techsupport told me tonight that there CANT be no leaked Froyo's out there because they are waiting on Flash to be ready; according to them, the 2.2 on the Droid 2 is flashless due to this! Can that be so?

Can someone point me in the direction of how to get back to stock? How do you go about flashing the sbf? Will that put back all the boat, undo any changes I have done? Basically, will doing that prepare me to install this update?

Downloading this update to the Root of the SD card does mean not in ANY folder just on the SD card correct?

Who knows? Neither has been released yet. But it shouldn't stop the OTA from coming through but worst case scenario, you can always roll back with the .sbf file.

If someone has it, then why not release it.. why make everyone wait until a certain time.
maybe i'm just being paranoid.
but maybe they need time to plant a backdoor/trojan/malware/etc
idk.. since the official is just a few short weeks away I may just hold out.

that's the thing though.. you got guys ready to pee their pants in anticipation over this.. it really doesn't need any extra hype.
