Today is the last day of summer. By Matt stating that they are "ontrack" for a summer release that means they have until 12:00 am tonight to get the update out otherwise they run into "early fall" territory.

Hopefully by tomorrow morning we will all have 2.2!

Thursday is the 1st day of fall.

According to the NOAA, the Autumnal Equinox is at 11:09 PM EDT tomorrow night... so I guess they technically have until then before we can justifiably turn on the nerd rage

Well, considering it's coming tomoorow, I sure hope the VZ Navigator app can be uninstalled with rooting...

Can it, from anybody who already has 2.3.15 via the leak?

Rather than uninstalling and running into the problems that can cause, I've been "freezing" apps using Titanium Backup. They disappear from the menus, the functionality is gone, and it works for widgets too!

I have a feeling that everyone is going to kill their batteries with the amount of times they are going to check to see if it's available. I can see it now.... someone checking for hours until finally the message they have been waiting for for months "Update available". They go to update the phone and BAM...please plug in your phone your battery is about to die and that's the day they forgot their charger.....lol

Hey guys, or girls? Im a phone nerd. My name is Louie , and im a addict . I cant get enough of my phone. With that said , i want 2.2 from verizon. But can someone please tell me if im able to pull the update?
I have a rooted x , just sunday i downloaded rom manager , and dl 2.2 from manager , then fly x , then put the onix black bar on top of that . Will i be able to ''upgrade'' to the official copy? will i lose root? or is what im running going to be just like what verizon is going to send out. my Benchmark went from 1250( high as it ever got) to 1576 (first time with fly x) . What is my best option? i have only used android x 9 weeks. Thank you for the assistance.
