Frustrated by behaviour with flash on 4.4

I really like dolphin browser. I like the look, I like the usability, I really like the favourites you swipe in from the side. But I'm fed up of the way it deals with flash in kitkat.

Web pages are filled with little "flash player incompatible" warnings that don't appear in chrome.

Is there a setting I should be using to get rid of them? I don't want to do the "hack" they suggest on their help site.

I had installed the hacked version of flash player and it works fine on my Nexus 5.
