Frustrated with new s5 !

First, in the Samsung App Store, or Galaxy Apps now, Samsung has an app you can use when switching phones and the way it works is by cloning your old phone to your new phone so everything will remain the same. I've never used it before, but I've seen it there. All of my information is stored in a cloud based service so there's no need for me to copy everything over, otherwise, I'll end up with duplicates of everything. Second, Chrome is not set as the default browser on my Galaxy S5. Something called "Internet" was when I got the phone, which was 2 days before the release date. Who knows, things might have changed by then. I have about 4-5 different browsers installed because some sites look better on some browsers, so currently, I don't have a default browser. If I click a link, a window pops up asking me which browser I want to use. When you go into the settings of your device, go to applications, then Application Manager, it'll list all the apps you've installed, if you scroll right, it'll list apps you can move to your SD card, then running apps, then all apps, including the ones that came pre-installed. You can go through these to disable the ones you don't want. I usually press stop first, then clear data, then disable app. Afterwards, be sure you go into Galaxy Apps and change the settings to not automatically install updates, otherwise they'll show back up.

Yeah that "Internet" thing is not a Google default browser it is the Samsung browser. All the phones will have it, but how it operates will be carrier dependant. My Sprint S5 came with both and I can use them indepedantly of the other. Chrome is a far superior browser than that other crappy browser btw.

Both Dolphin and Opera are far superior to either of those.
