Frustrated

I can't stand when that happens. There must be a way to remove the Spanish off Swype if one doesn't ever use it, no?

Yes there is indeed a setting to stop from switching back and forth from English to Spanish.

I found it in this forum.

When you have Swype opened, hold down on the language button, it will bring you to a screen that shows you the two languages, US English and Espanol.

Just 'uncheck' the espanol setting and your done, but make sure you keep the US English still checked off.

Basically, it disables the switch to Spanish if you accidentally touch that button, next to the space bar.

PS I am finding all these little cool trick in Swype that people have been telling here or finding some on my own, but just re-reading the manual that is supplied on the phone.

Just thought I'd add too that there are two Gingerbread keyboards, the free and paid ($1.99 I believe). It's well worth the $ for the paid version because you can adjust the size of the keyboard in advanced settings. The auto correct on the GB keyboard is great too! I don't actually have an E4GT, but can't you get to silent mode by holding down the power button? I thought all android phones could do that. Good luck.
