Full Pixel reviews coming?

Hopefully, we'll see some canonical reviews that actually take the devices through the paces and not just highlight a couple of features here and there. I feel like too many reviews are moving away from being thorough with devices and discussing a few things they may think are cool.

For example, regarding Pixels, I feel too many gloss over GA which is the cornerstone of what the device is about. There have been incredible improvements with GA over the last year, but I'm sure many treat GA as a 'given'. Which is an injustice to considering the device for the first time.

I have never heard an official date, but I thought the embargo would be lifted on release day, which would be Thursday.

They've moved away from thorough reviews to just wanting to post them first. The only thorough reviews I see anymore either come from Erica Griffin or Flossy Carter.

The phone is made by an American company in CA. It's 0630 there right now. I think we should all know by now that embargoes aren't based on GMT. Maybe for new Aston Martins or McLarens.

Why would they wait on battery life reports? If they are reviewing it they would be able to give you the battery life they experienced?

I am sure after a week or more of using it they can tell how it lasts for their day-to-day life.
