Full Pixel reviews coming?

Interesting:

Verge claims it's more scratch prone than others.

9 to 5 says not more scratch prone than others.

I say avoid putting your phone in your pocket with others things and or case it.

Sorry, but I have to put my phone in my pocket with some other supplies. It just fits my lifestyle, especially due to having a medical device on my belt area as well. I will have a case, though, so hopefully that will protect the back which is more prone to showing scratches.

Some have dropped on YouTube already, but I don't know how they could be proper reviews considering some mentioned they only used the device for six days before the review. Proper reviews take a couple of weeks (at least) of use in order to really know everything about it.

Reviews seem very solid so far, display looks great and finally close to Samsung and Apple. Camera looks very good as expected.

Apology not required. You have to do what's best for you. Case and a screen protector are a must in your case.

I guess that could vary based on how many parts of the day you spend playing with the phone.

Re: Ars Technical did NOT think too highly of the Pixel 3 - extensive review

I really hate those kind of articles. There are a lot of legitimate points in there. But obviously something with the phone rubbed him the wrong way and became less of a review and more of a hit piece.

Also just not a fan of extreme journalism. The idea that something is not quite how I wanted so therefore bad. I want a metal back, so glass back, the thing everyone has is bad. I wanted no notch so this notch is terrible. So on and so on. Lot of things that are really nitpicky become deal breakers on their own. This is coming from someone who isn't a fan of notches and glass backs.

Top it off that review ignores the things that make some of the nitpicks requirements that should soften the blow.

That's how I felt when I read that "review". It just seemed like a hit piece. All of his "problems" could've been mitigated with a cheap case. The notch still would've been there, but he wouldn't have been leaving his fingerprints on the back of the device. He really whined about that, didn't he?
