Here are a couple vids of FullHDMI running on CM7:

This is the new version of FullHDMI which provides universal compatibility and runs on any kernel. In the videos above it is running stock CM7 with no special kernel or drivers used (no custom drivers = no hardware acceleration however).

Awesomeness! You haven't actually posted the new apk yet, right? The OP still has the apk from 2/26 on it.

Nothing short of Amazing. I am so glad the developer that picked this up is thinking of everyone. Root, non root, AOSP, Sense. Keep up the good work.

ok so i figured it out, turns out that something to do with slayers cyan dragon theme was messing things up. did it three times just to verify everything works great until i install slayers theme and then the stock hdmi goes.
got everything straitened out now.

the new kernel seems to be running very smooth on my evo too, not quite as fast as the kernel i was running but i dont think this one is as aggressive since its a less and i was on a more.
does this kernel have sbc?
testing more now with the new kernel.

i am also running the dragon theme, i do not have to un-install it do i? i am waiting for my HDMI cable to arrive, so i have not done any testing.

flashing and glitching seem to be greatly reduced with the new kernel.
before raging thunder was unplayable now it runs with only the occasional glitch usually when i tap for boost in fact most of the glitching ive noticed seems to be attached to me taping the screen when left alone the glitches almost disappear entirely.
picture seems to be a tad bit sharper as well, at least in 480 i havent gotten to 720p testing yet.
this was all in hardware mode with supercharge enabled.

bitbop is still not working gitches badly during playback and you still get a layering effect as it goes through its start up dialog for playback instead of diplaying the dialog then it disapearing then new dialog it never disappears just layers on top of one another. when video starts to play the "layers" disappear but video still glitches badly.

Also i have a suggestion it would be great to have an option in the app like slacker does to keep the display always on when plugged in. every time the screen times out the service has to be restarted.

what version is this new kernel? i have the 2.6.32.16 root@ubuntu #1 that was posted in an XDA thread about this app.

hi orrebmas, this is what im running on my phone right now, cm7 nightly 11 let me know if i can help with anything

Any predictions on when the updated app will be available for download? And does anyone have recommendations as far as best roms/kernals to run this on? Thanks in advance!

are u using a custom theme?
mine went as soon as i loaded slayers theme worked fine before.

well i flashed myn's rom last night all was well with my hdmi flashed riptide9's color and clear theme everything still fine played with everything testing with the app enabled and disbled all worked great testing till like 6 am this morning.
fell asleep with hulu running( i noticed the glitching only seems to occur for the fist few minutes while it buffers and during commercials) but i woke up hours later and hulu was still playing.
So now for the bad news....
I seem to have lost my abilty to output video over the stock hdmi again!

i can go to the gallery and pics will work but i get no video from droidtv or other video apps that worked previously without fullhdmi running.
Before i was getting a notification in the bar that hdmi was detected and now there no notification either.
this has happened on both the beta kernel and the new netarchy kernel.

ive also noticed the icon stays in the task bar whether you have the option checked or not app running or not.

Fittek - Thanks for the response. I flashed Myn's rls5 this morning and I could detect the HDMI input again. However, FullHDMI would force close everytime I tried to open it - on both kernels. This was on a completely clean install of the ROM so there shouldn't be any conflicts with other software. I ran out of time, and won't be able to play with it more until tonight.

It seems like it has to be a conflict with software I had installed. It was working great for a while after I installed it (ran it with Need for Speed, Angry Birds and HULU) but died when I tried to open Asphalt. Has Asphalt worked for others?

i did last night, i installed the free HD version from the marked, i was running Myn's 5 with the new kernel on a vizio 42'', the sound and video worked fine, that was a little flickering once in a wile but nothing bad.

Myn had this problem, he was not signed into his Google account. Are you? I think this feature will be removed in the next apk, right orrebmas?

Nope, Asphalt just sits on a black screen and will not open. Tried those apps you listed above plus HomeRun Battle 3D and Slingbox, works great. Having a different issue with battery life on the Net's SBC 4.2.2 kernel. Unplugged at 6:00 PM and by 7:30 was down to 56%???!!!. Nothing running and phone is warm. Spare Parts showing nothing out of the ordinary. My phone has never liked any type of HAVS and I usually run a HAVSless kernel. I'm at work, but when I get some free time will have to do some investigating. I still have my Net's 4.3 kernel (no HAVS) on my SD card so I'll flash back to that and see what happens.
