Anyone know why I have the little sun icon here? I googled it but came up with nothing. It's the little things that bother me. Lol.

I wondered the same thing. I thought it was a weather notification or something. I was waiting for a msg saying, "Hey! Put on some suncreen man!"

if you notice it has (1) inside of it. if I'm not mistaken if you have more than one location in the settings,it will scroll between how ever many different ones. the number relates to the order in which your locations are listed in the settings. for example i have mine setup #1 for my current location, #2 is my home town you have the option to have it scroll between both locations every 5 or 10 seconds or turn that feature off. go into the app and go to settings and you'll see what I'm talking about

I have other US locations set and they all have 1 in them. I also have Rio de Janeiro set and it doesn't have the icon at all. So it is probably something to do with daylight savings time.

Mine randomly changes from 1 to 3. No reason I can figure out.

What is it?

tap on the weather widget once it opens click on settings and enable "auto scrolling"

Im playing around with it, I have 5 different various cities in there, they all have the small sun icon with a 1 in the middle. Then I have a Brazil City, it has no Sun icon at all. On yours each city has a different number 1 to whatever, depending on how many cities you have entered? Im not worried about auto scrolling or anything like that. I did that too any they all still had a 1, the small number in the sun never changed,

Does Brazil City utilize daylight savings time, could be a way to resolve this question. I usually have 2 cities in my weather and they both have the 1 no matter if I scroll them or not.

We are in DST in the US, so that makes sense.

No they don't, thats my point. Any US city I put in east coast, west coast, scroll, no scroll, auto refresh, no auto refresh. The small number is always "1" in each one, never changes.

Its daylight saving icon. I just tried Phoenix. They don't observe daylight savings time. And theres no icon for that city.

I guess it makes a little sense now because the icon is right next to the time. But its still totally stupid the time is the time what difference does it make. Probably a whole nework issue that adds it.

I really don't see the purpose for putting that icon there...it doesn't really help with anything.

Then again, I don't see the purpose of the weather widget everyone loves...but maybe that's because I live in Miami where they never know how to predict the weather correctly!
