So is Google now bending from pressure by the carriers? So much for an open operating system. It was only a matter of time until the carriers starting calling the shots.
For those interested.. U can now get root on the Verizon m7.. Did it last night.. All bloatware gone

I tried using Bluetooth and USB tether but it has never worked for me.I have unlimited data and a RAZR maxx HD on Verizon. What router can I get to tether my data into with foxfi USB tether? If anyone can help thanks. KitKat system. I'm not very smart on tech talk so be easy on me.
Well that sucks. I found this in the change log :
- Over The Air (OTA) Wi-Fi exclusivity is now implemented
I assume this is what is blocking FoxFi.
Is there a way to block 4.4.2 from downloading? If not, I may have to look into rooting.
Fyi: If you want to get a new phone and keep unlimited data you must add a NEW line and get a 2 year contract.
Just installed and tested it. Works fine on my M7.Foxfi just released an update that supposedly now supports HTC One (M7) on KitKat...one comment on Google Play store confirmed it worked...anyone else try it?
Working on my m7,but is there a way to get rid of the pin lock?
