fyi - VM raising rates?...:/

I had the $25 plan, but decided I need more minutes. So I moved to the $40 plan last night before the price jump went into effect. :-)

Neither can we but that's what the foreign chick said to my mom and she was like are you sure and the lady was like yep 1200 and nights and weekends

I think she was mistaken.
There is nothing on VM's website mentioning that, and remember these call centers handle lots of companies.

No one mentioned the 2.5gb speed cap? Further down on the page stating the changes it says we will have 2.5GB of full speed bandwidth, rest of the billing cycle will be capped at 256kbs. I am lucky to get 256kbs.

I started my new cycle at 12:00am on the 20th. After a few speed tests I get much better download speeds. Its not super consistent but I get anywhere from 300kbs to 1000kbs. Which is infinitely better tan 8kbs to 100kbs I had before.

Anyone have similar happen to them?

Ok this made me lol.

Its merely a simple mistake of what she was meaning. Think about it.

I thought she goofed too but I figured I'd ask :) and it seems like my phone goes faster on 3g, haven't done a test but now all the people who steal all of our interwebz and slow it down will be screwed. It just sucks foe the daily Pandora listeners :/ i think its should be a 4 or 5 gb cap so us pandora and Netflix users don't get raped with speed caps

Does the data throttle really matter for Pandora users? Pandora's streaming speed on free accounts is less than the throttled Virgin speed, no?
