Galaxy A40 lockscreen no longer blurring when prompting PIN

I have a Samsung Galaxy A40 with Android 11 and One UI 3.1. I also have Nova Launcher on it to be able to use an icon pack I like. My lockscreen has notifications turned on and is set to "Icons only," and it's been this way for a while, but when I turned my phone on today, that's when I encountered the problem.

My lockscreen used to blur and gray out when I swiped up to get to the "Enter PIN" prompt, but now it's just transparent, and it's hard to see the PIN number buttons because of the background. How do I go bring back the old behavior?
