Galaxy Apps Store

Ok I did the day one update. I am now getting the DQA error. I cleared the cache partition. Galaxy apps is still not showing in my list of apps but I can load it using the Galaxy essentials shortcut.

At this point I would recommend doing a factory reset on your phone. I know it's a PAIN, but it seems like that will clear up both issues.

A reset won't fix the DQA issue. The patch released from Samsung will once I receive it.

I loved my Samsung S8 till one fine day after charging it didn't turn on. I tried all the tricks in my book, all in vain. Took them to repair shop even they could not find the reason behind sudden death of my Samsung set

The patch on mine didn't show up until last night (Verizon) and I didn't do anything to trigger it. If you have DQA disabled the patch won't take so make sure it's on.

Finally got the DQA patch.

Regardless the phone is going back.

The Bluetooth audio is terrible. Calls squawk and crackle over Bluetooth on multiple cars. Music breaks up on iHeartRadio and Spotify.

I was on a work call this morning and when I got in my car, music started playing over my phone call. I couldn't pause iHeartRadio and it kept playing even when I force quit the app. I had to uninstall it. Then, when I tried to select a Bluetooth device it would not play to the chosen device. I couldn't pick the car or my headset.

Later in the afternoon Spotify did the same thing. So I know it's not the audio app. Multiple cars and headsets have the same problem.

So it's a beautiful phone, that fails at being a useful phone for me. My iPhone had none of these issues.

Hey Cyberdelia, I am sorry you are having so many problems. Are you going back to the iPhone or did you have something else in mind?

Back to the iPhone. Normally I would try to exchange the phone but I don't have time right now. The iPhone may not be as pretty but at least it works. That's more important right now.

I hope to see you around the Android forums again in the future. The iPhone is a really good phone, it is just a little too boring for my taste. My wife has a 7 plus and she really likes it.

Thanks. :) My last venture into the Android world was with the note 4. I still miss that phone.

I'll probably be back in a couple years, maybe less, lol. I also have a 7+. Boring, yes - I'll give it that.

Just type galaxy apps in the search bar on the home screen then it will show you up. Then long press

I picked up a Verizon S8+. I see people talking about the Galaxy Apps Store but I do not see that on my phone anywhere. A friend on at&t doesn't have it on his either.

Am I missing something here? I want to be able to get the DQA update and I'm holding back from updating until I know I can get this patch.

So i just picked up a note 8 a few days ago after my s8 got brutally ran over on the loop 202. I came here because I had the same problem with not having galaxy apps. I went to Bixby. Told Bixby to open galaxy apps. Bixby opened it and it updated. Now the apps store is there

You need to go to Samsung.com, then log into your Samsung account or create one if you don't have one yet. Then it should automatically install Galaxy Apps and you'll find it in your app drawer. Check for updates as you will prob have 20+ that need updating. Hope this helps!

Did you go to setting. Then to apps and look there. Mine is there and in Samsung folder.
I am on att.
