Hello there ...i have a prob. Regarding my samsung galaxy j1 ace (j110f/ds) as it doesnt read the sim card.
It just says put in your PUK code and unlock it....
I have tried a thousand times but still not working..
I have tried replacing my sim but nothing changed!! Plzz kindly help me..coz its almost 3 months used.!

Welcome to Android Central! Where are you getting the SIM card from? It sounds like there's a lock on the SIM. Ask your carrier for help.

Also have rooted and unrooted it...but still there is a puk lock on inserting my sim card and any other phone's sim card ....

Maybe I'm misunderstanding something here. I was wondering who your carrier is, and if you're able to contact them about this. For example, here are steps for AT&T: att.com/esupport/article.html#!/wireless/KM1011771

I am from India using an airtel sim...
I had contacted them about a week ago ...the only they say that ..Take your mobile to a repairing shop..
But if someone had a greater idea about fixing this thing by myself!!

If the same problem happens with a replacement SIM from Airtel (and I assume your account with Airtel is in good standing), then it probably has more to do with the phone's SIM reader.

You could try wiping the cache partition. Follow the steps in this video, but instead of selecting Wipe Data/Factory Reset, make sure you select Wipe Cache Partition. When complete, then select Reboot System Now.

If that doesn't help, you could also try a factory reset (if you haven't already). If none of that helps, then I'm not sure what else to do besides contact Samsung.

Sir..,
I have done all the above procedures that you have mentioned..
I had contacted samsung for the prob. But still i haven't got a solution for it....😢😣😣

I think you bought the phone from outside the India. Then to activate it u need a local sim card or take it to service center, they will unlock it for an amount.
