Galaxy Nexus>Htc One X!

Actually the nexus hasn't been released yet for Sprint. But thanks for you 2?

Which is why I added the part about the phone you have your mind set on, not just phones you have. That's actually the scariest part. There are fanboys who are almost manic to prove a phone they don't own and cannot buy yet is better than a different phone the do not own, most likely haven't even seen or touched, and also cannot yet buy. That is a serious problem in my opinion.

Like I said in my post that you seemed to not read, or at least let the point go by because you didn't like the presentation: Enjoy your phone. If you don't have it yet, enjoy the anticipation, and enjoy it when you get it. There is absolutely no need to try and grind other phones you see as competition to the one you want into the ground to make "your" phone look better. The GNex and the One X are great. If you don't like one, you will probably like the other. Choice is awesome. Why the hate?

It actually isn't alot i have 12gb of apps on my device.

Out of curiousity, how many are games that normally store their game data on the /sdcard? I don't know of many games that store their post downloaded data to the apps to the /data partition. If they aren't games, what apps do you have that are taking up 12 gbs?

haha, yeah, i wonder that too. i used to install every single app, but now i only keep enough that i know i will use. only about 400 meg are used for app, the rest are store on sd thru app2sd. to me 16 or 32 gig are more than enough.

why ppl keep saying sprint only has 16 gig? there really isn't any announcement on it yet, but if that means the phone will cost less, then i don't mind.

Yes they have. Check out the EVO 4g LTE, that's Sprints version of the one x. The GN will have 32 gig. Both of those specs are official.

The one x will almost surely be a much better devise. The s4 is a beast of a processor and quite frankly I'd rather have it than the tegra in a phone anyway. The nexus crew generally writes off anything that isn't vanilla android which is their right and preference but it is kind of ignorant imo. Sense 4 is looking like an amazing skin that adds to android instead of covering it up and I can't wait to see it in person. I really hope Verizon get the one x or especially a one s cause its not huge.

I'm really hoping that htc will make the next nexus or even Motorola(you can take this statement for what it is)

If processors and benchmarks are what people base a better device on then why not just get an iPhone? The iPhone 4S benchmarks better then any current US Android phone but Android users will always say how their device is better then any iPhone. And what ground do they stand on? Um, Androids OS of course?

When comparing Android devices people think because it has a better processor it will be a better phone. Not true! Same can hold true for this argument as to the iPhone. Pure ICS vs. Sense. Anytime you add anything on top of the OS it will take and use more resources. We have seen this over and over with Sense. No matter how much technology jumps from each phone they find a way to make Sense require more resources and power and time and time again they manage to create lag in their devices. Why will the Evo LTE be able to do that the GN can't? Can't really imagine anything now or in the immediate future that will require better processors then we have now...

On top of that, can't wait to see how the EVO LTE runs with it's non removable, non upgradeable battery. At first people won't need to worry about it to much because no one will have LTE, but eventually when you do wait till you see the battery hit it will take and you will not have any option to buy an extended or extra battery...Good luck with that. Plus we know that HTC and battery life have never made a good pairing....

true, skin will def affect the performance of the phone, but seems like sense 4 is a lighter version and the new s4 processor is supposed to be a beast. we'll just have to wait and see it. are there att one x review out yet? that would be the closest in spec w/ the evo lte. i think the battery issue is the same, w/ a bigger battery, it will def help w/ batt life. again, we really can't tell till the phone is out and we see some real life use and testing. too soon to write it off. i personally don't mind the non changeable battery myself. i will sacrifice thinness for that any day. my phone is plugged into an outlet at work all day, car charger while driving anyway. so batt has never really been an issue for me.

Yeah 16gb built in and you forgot to mention the fact that it has an sd slot for up to 32gb micro.

While I like HTC's build quality I hate Sense...even 4.0 so until they give me the option to remove it without rooting, I'm staying away from HTC.
I've heard the SGS3 might have stock ICS so if true, I might pick it up, or wait to upgrade my GNex to the Nexus 4

Actually I meant my comment about the s4 only to address ppl complaining about it not having the tegra. It will be a better devise because it will have better hardware all the way around(*cough radio cough*), or at least if it doesn't I will be the first to right it off as a failure.

A skin does take more resources and battery, but adds functionality and convenience. In many cases, to get all of this you would need a host of apps that would take just as much to power or more. You could counter this and say just use a Rom, and you would be right, but if you are going to root and Rom then you can have whatever you want on any devise anyway

I my friend am a power user I have over 250 applications. And you would be surprised we are well past the days where apps are less than 10mb the average application is 20-30mb

actually the s4 is just as good if not better then the tegra 3 chip. all ppl read is 2 cores vs 4 cores and automatically think the tegra is better.

Bloatware free gnex beats bloatware full one X. If you get unlocked one X, then the gnex has competition.

S4 vs Tegra 3....

Whichever gets me the better battery life would get my money. Everything else comes 2nd. Especially benchmarks.

Wants n needs.....and I forgot to say this: I like your style E_man. lol. I agree with what you've been saying 100%. IMHO...Android land is getting too divided. Ppl thinking their wants n needs are are supposed to be everybody's. Or their wants n needs are whats best. I posted about not really liking the Rezound. And I might get a Bionic. Shocked some ppl.

My wants n needs are mine...no matter the specs or features of another phone.

The one x doesn't have bloatware. And even if it did, you can disable it.

Sense 4.0 is enough bloatware to keep me away.
I'll wait to see if rumors are true that that SGS3 runs stock ICS without TW or not.

Except sense isn't bloatware.

And there is not a chance in hell the s3 is coming out without TW.

Sense is bloatware to me, as is TW and anything OEM's add that I can't remove without rooting or disable without causing problems.
We'll see about the SGS3...if not, I'll wait for the Nexus 4 to upgrade from my GNex.

I find it hard to believe that the average non-game applications are 20-30mb. I'd wager that the average application size is probably under 5mb. (talking specifically non-game apps)

Also, good luck getting a phone to run stable managing that many apps.
