Update: April 29, 2014. I still have not received a replacement for my defective tablet purchased on 12/8/2013 and returned to Samsung three times for repairs (all of which left the tablet in worse condition than it was previously). Have called customer service more times than I can count. I have six pages of notes documenting all of my contacts with Samsung regarding this tablet. I still cannot get any information other than "it is being processed" and "it will arrive in 7-10 business days." It's been well more than 6 weeks since I was first told that I was eligible to receive a replacement tablet.
I'm going to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and probably small claims court, although where I live there is a $145 filing fee and I'm not sure that I want to spend anymore money on this misadventure.
PS The representative from Samsung "executive customer relations" offered me a $10 gift e-card to Samsung.com for my troubles!!! Adding insult to injury . . . .
EDIT: I bought the tablet from Amazon and I just called Amazon customer service and Amazon is willing to take back the tablet (should I ever receive it from Samsung) and give me a full refund even though it's been five months since I bought it . . . no restocking fee. However, I'm still out the $199 that Samsung charged me to "repair" the shattered screen.
