Galaxy Note 10 - Popup Notifications Disabled During Calls

I like having certain apps display popup notifications. However, when I'm using my phone to make a phone call (I'm wearing a wireless headset) I don't see the popups anymore.

I know there is a setting called "Notify During Calls" but that allows you to hear the sounds and not see the actual notification popup.

Does anyone know how to make this work?

If this what you mean ,go into settings >scroll to advance features and tap it> scroll to smart pop up view and turn them off

What I'm asking is something different. See, grab your phone and while you are using it, have someone send you a text. Depending of what you have set up, you'll either get a pop up notification or the edge lighting.

Now, try the same thing again while during a call and you won't see neither. You'll hear the notification sound but you won't see the notification in whichever form you got this configured.

What you sent me shows the "Head Pop Ups" but it's not the same as seeing the actual notification.

I see what you mean , I didn't realize your using a head set . I think it wont show on the phone when your on your head set because it notify you through that.. but I'll have to test this out later when I get home ,unless other members can chime in .

So here's the use case. I'm use my Note 10 for conference calls - all the time. So I'm using either a wired or wireless headset while talking on the phone.

During the phone conversation, I get messages or IM's that I don't see the notifications. I hear them but depending on who's doing the talking, the notification sound is so quiet I never get to hear it.
