For those of you who have both Note 2 and Note 10.1, is there any neat features that allow them to sync easily? Samsung cloud does not work for me. It keeps deleting all of my notes. I have been using Dropsync to sync my notes with my phone and tablet.

I am using both these devices and it is working great. I am using the Samsung account to do the syncing between the two.

Settings>Account>Samsung Account>Hit User Name/Email>Check off Sync S Note.

The above automatically syncs the two together. As I made a change on one device, the change or creation of a note shows up on the other.

I originally was using the sync function within S Note. But apparently this is a manually sync to backup the notes to Google Drive or EverNote.

I use Samsung sync and Dropbox. I have Dropsync and had problems with the folder structure.

sko580, I did what you suggest and it works almost. My phone syncs all S Notes to my Note 10.1, some of the Note 10.1 S Notes sync and some of each cause an error on both devices when opening. Any ideas? This would be a killer feature if it worked reliably.

Tried to sync using Samsung Cloud and it deleted several S Notes for me. Several others were corrupted and are un-readable. There doesn't seem to be a pattern, some are synced, some are not, on each device. I'm sure there are many of us looking for a way to sync our S Notes reliably. Without a reliable way to sync them between the Note 2 & the Note 10.1 the usefulness is limited. Maybe bluetooth transfer is the most reliable method of assuring stability. I'm hoping someone can come up with a reliable sync strategy.... Thanks for starting this thread.

Seems like Verizon has disabled the ability to sync my NoteII to my Note 10.1 through the Samsung account. :/

How does a third party company stop a service from an account you have elsewhere?

Others:
Have you confirmed you are running the same version of notes on both devices?
If you are, us it possible the ones that error are from on older version of notes?
Is it possible to backup your notes and start clean on both devices and see if you still get errors when creating new and them editing them?

These are general thoughts/questions. I own neither phablet.

Could you elaborate please? Sounds like a good option. Thanks!

This is something I'd be interested in as well. Right now I'm using my Samsung account without any trouble, but some stories I've read online about losing noted this way scares me. I've got a ton of important things as a student.

Ya same versions of s note once both devices are up to date. Sync now is disabled on my phone

Dropsync is working great for me. I have had no problems since some initial hicups when I first set it up.

My first and only try resulted in duplication with a capital D.

I've installed DropSync and it seems to work fine, however, I don't see how you can sync S Notes via DropSync.

Anyone care to offer assistance?

Thanks

Well I thought I had it all taken care with Samsung Account syncing. Ended up getting duplicates and erased notes. It all started when I created folders within S-Note.

I am looking into DropSync now. It could work, but I am trying to figure out if it can sync automatically rather than manually syncing it. Wondering if there is push-syncing that was if I entered a note on my Note II, the Note 10.1 would automatically sync. I am unsure if Drop Sync can run quietly in the background at all times and do this without killing my battery on either device.

As for how to sync your S-Notes with DropBox, here is a quick list of what occurred on my end:
- Run DropSync
- Entered my DropxBox credentials into DropSync
- Using DropSync, I designated the folder to sync within DropBox. In this case, I created a S-Note folder.
- Next step is to tell DropSync what folder on your local device you want to sync. This is the part where you have to find the S-Note folder. (/storage/sdcard0/S Note)

So you just set up dropsync like this on both devices with two-way sync, and you're good to go? And going about it this way is more stable than using the samsung account, right?

Yes.... the FREE Dropsnyc account only gives you one folder to link to another location...i.e. dropbox... the paid version allows you to have more than one sync folder and/or location.

I have Snote to dropbox via dropsync like Terran shows in her videos...(thanks girly) and I have my camera photos and my titanium backups to box as well. three folders..2 locations...one app (Dropsync)...now if I can only get my Evernotes to become S-Notes....hmmmmm....

So I've been using dropsync for my notea and it has been great . I was wondering though, can we do a similar thing with local tasks in s planner? I like being able to label my tasks into groups on my device, but unfortunately s planner only allows a group field with tasks under "my tasks" and not with any other account that syncs online.
