My battery is acting very strange because soon as its fully charged within a few seconds after unplugging it drops to 99% straight away without me even doing anything on it.

Anyone know if that is normal or a faulty battery? I've been using my Note 2 before upgrading to Note 3 but never seen this quick drop before :'(

No that is not normal. You should get 10 to 20 minutes of standby time with data on. Pull the battery and try again. It should not be that fast. But dropping to 99 isn't to big a worry. Now if you drop to 15 in several hours, we got problems.

100% for 30 minutes or more should be the standard. You may have a memory card that has issues. Look at your System Settings/Battery/ & look for "Media" ... if that is there then you have a memory card issue. BTW, you can force stop Media & it will be fine until the next reboot. I had this problem with a memory card I had with my Thunderbolt, S3 & Note 2. Sold my Note 2 with that card (Ebay with notes on card issue) & got a new card with my Note 3 & all is fine!

Cheers & hope this helps, Jon

I went from 94% to 24% in 4 hours. The WatchON app was using 68% of my battery. That was fun. Considering I don't even use that app.

Who knows what screen on time you have? Have you set watch on up?

And yes I've set up WatchON. Used it once. Haven't used it since.

Ah. Makes sense. You can disable it. Then you can reboot and see. It should not do that. Remember to post screen on time as watch on doesn't run in the background normally. That is a most peculiar screen on time shot I have ever seen. You may want to factory reset. Only 5% of battery used by screen? Something is major wrong.

Yeah I know. It happened this morning after getting updated. I wonder if that had something to do with it. Today was the first time this has happened.

I would try a hard battery pull first. Let it sit without the battery for 5 or so minutes. I have had to factory reset due to some software stuff from beta testing a launcher. Running okay now. Let us know!
