I have two Samsung cables I use in the house (for my Galaxy Alpha), and a motorola charger I use in my car. My husband has the same one in his car (for his galaxy s4). On Jan 5th I plugged my phone into the car charger and got a "Power Sharing" message. "You must download the app in order to control the amount of power shared. If you connect your device to another device with the Samsung Power Sharing Cable EP-SG900 without the app, the entire battery amount will be transferred to the other device. Connect to Samsung Apps and download the application." After that it would connect and disconnect sporadically and not charge. When I got home, I tried both Samsung chargers. While I didn't get the error, the phone would still connect and disconnect sporadically and not charge. So I took it in the AT&T and they replaced tried their charger. No go. Took it to a different AT&T (to do a warranty exchange) and their charger worked. So he sent me home with that one. Got home, plugged it in... no charge. Received replacement phone in the mail (used old battery)... same exact problem. So we figured it must be a bad battery connection. Just tried the new battery...no go. WTF is going on? Was there an update that totally jacked up my phone's charging abilities? I know it's not the same error, but it's a similar problem starting at the same time. My husband is having zero issues with his s4 and car charger. Am I to believe that all of the sudden, my two Samsung cables (plus the new two) AND car charger all went out at the exact same time? I'm so irritated at this point!
