TL;DR For All Reviews:
- Battery life is so-so, not as great as the s7 edge
- Camera quality is decent, marginally better than s7
- TW/Software isn't very fluid, looks like there are some dropped frames here and there
- Audio quality through the 3.5mm jack is decent
- Display is marginally better than the s7/note 5
- Most benchmarks (but not all) are slightly below that of the s7
- In-hand feel is vastly improved with the symmetric design'
- S-Pen is a mixed bag but no reviewer has any major complaints
I'm most upset about the battery life performance here. 4-4.5 hours SoT on SD 820? I was hoping the N7 would magically be better than the s7 edge, but I guess spec's don't lie.
Where is the video?
Funny how the MrMobile review has over 43,000 views, and android central video review only has over 1,500. LOL!!!!
Keep posting more pokemon stories!!
Since most people seem to think I'm making this up, despite pulling everything from reviews, are are some sources for y'all.

- S-Pen is a mixed bag but no reviewer has any major complaints; The argument here is whether or not it's useful, but that's dependent on individual needs
So dear Samsung fans, I am not intentionally bashing your phone. This was all from reviews. And in fact-90% of the tidbits I mentioned were positive.
Oh and yes, I like Samsung phones too with a preorder in for the N7. I'm just laying down what was posted already.

You are cherry picking the most negative stuff...as they say on ESPN..."Come on, man!"
I don't mind that. Cherry picking positive things is more common but utterly useless when trying to evaluate a phone. The one thing I found odd was the camera OK remark. I thought this was by far the best phone camera everYou are cherry picking the most negative stuff...as they say on ESPN..."Come on, man!"

Displaymate
It's not your sources that are in question, it's your summary of their reviews/results. For example:
In actuality, Displaymate says: The Best Smartphone Display
The Galaxy Note7 provides many major and important state-of-the-art display enhancements, with mobile OLED display technology now advancing faster than ever. The Galaxy Note7 is the most innovative and high performance Smartphone display that we have ever tested. It leapfrogs the displays on the Galaxy Note5 and Galaxy S7 to become the Best Performing Smartphone Display ever.
The Galaxy Note7 matches or breaks new Smartphone display performance records for:· Widest Color Gamuts for Current Content (DCI-P3 for Digital Cinema and Adobe RGB for Digital Photos)
· Highest Peak Brightness (1,048 nits)
· Highest Contrast Rating in Ambient Light (228)
· Highest Screen Resolution (2560x1440)
· Highest (infinite) Contrast Ratio
· Lowest Screen Reflectance (4.6 percent)
· Smallest Brightness Variation with Viewing Angle (21 percent)
· Almost every display lab test and measurement shows some improvements compared to the Galaxy Note5 and Galaxy S7.
It's silly to try to point-by-point talk about your characterizations, but I would leave it at: You might not not exactly be listing the overall context as it was written with your summaries![]()
