Mmm, they replaced my phone, then bought it back... along with the peripherals... gave anyone that asked for it a "gift" toward a 3rd phone and then allows a huge amount in a trade allowance towards the 8.$425 off is NICE, but IMHO...especially with what the Note 7 owners had to go thru, the Note 8 should be FREE with proof of Note 7 purchase. Just my .02 cents
May have been answered, but the promo seems to good to me true in the following circumstance. I go buy one of the listed devices that show a $425 trade in value from Craigslist for as cheap as I can find that is in great condition, seen some for 80, for example, I added a Lg G4 just to see, and it said -$425 credit.
The cheapest phones I can find are usually Sprint, however I'm on T-Mobile.
My question is, will I still get the credit if I turn in a sprint phone but choose a T-Mobile phone from Samsung's website
Samsung went above and beyond on the note 7 recall. The only thing that Samsung was legally required to do was take the phone back and refund you your money. We all know most people scored several promos, a lot got to use a new phone in between recalls for free, got account credits, received $100 credit if stayed with Samsung, and now the $425 credit towards a note 8. Last year with credits and all the promos, I got around a $1,000 free, and could have gotten another $425 trade in this year. Then there were some that never returned their phones, from what I've read, those people got their money back and Samsung never did a charge back for no phone returned.$425 off is NICE, but IMHO...especially with what the Note 7 owners had to go thru, the Note 8 should be FREE with proof of Note 7 purchase. Yes, it doesn't matter what phone the carrier is on. Check out the FAQ's under the trade in page
Not verbatim but I know it doesn't matter what carrier the phone was on you turned in as long as it met the physical requirements.Do you remember what it said, i turned in a T-Moblie S5 and bought a Verizon Note 8

Thanks, i think i misread your post. I read it as "it does matter" but you actually wrote "it doesn't matter"
I havent received anything as of yet, I sent mine off yesterday but was told it could take 3-5 business days to get the new link which is suppose to have the accessories attached.Has anyone received the new e-mail with the new working link as of yesterday?
Does it allow you to select a free accessory?
Yeah, good luck with that man, at this point I trust nothing they (Samsung) is saying.Well, it had better come by the 30th - that's all I know. 5 business days will be October 2nd. (That figures.)
And, how do I go about getting confirmation that I can, indeed, submit my Galaxy Nexus phone, as the representative Kyle told me over the phone?
Call again upon ordering? Have them e-mail me?
