Galaxy Note Pro 12.2: Screen Mirroring not working "hardware conflict"

The Google Play Store has a Samsung Screen Mirroring Patch. Cannot post links yet as I am new but just search the Play Store for the following on your phone:

That was to patch an earlier software update. does not do anything for the current problem we are discussing

I have a bone stock Note Pro 12.2, no 4G, just WiFi version. Purchased from Best Buy (shouldn't be installing anything Carrier-specific when it's just WiFi, right?) No rooting of any kind. No Launchers or GUI modifications either. I have the same issue.
The TV shows up as a device to connect to, I am able to approve the connection/device on the TV end, and it starts to load the screen, but then the error message comes up on the Tablet that it can't connect because of the "hardware issue".

Trying to utilize this at work on our new Samsung TV in our Conference Room. I suppose I could just get one of the adapters, but it sounds like there are issues with those, too.

I get this "hardware conflict" when I use my NP12.2 with my Allshare dongle that's connected to my TV. I restart the NP12.2 and it connects over WiFi with no issues.

Posted from my GALAXY Note 4

Alright, here is the Fix for this. Please spread the word if this works for you. Because it worked for me. I didn't discover this solution so I can't take credit for this. Here it goes:
1. On your Note Pro find All Share Cast from Samsung and UnInstall all the updates. Then click Force Close, all of this should be done in Application Manager.
2. Restart your Note Pro (Very Important)
3. Using two fingers pull down the main screen from top down to unveil the controls menu. Touch Screen Sharing while the Miracast or other screen sharing service (Wifi Direct etc) is activated on Your TV.
4. Let it auto find it and auto connect..........Viola!

!!!!Finally something that really works! !!!!
Thank you so much for your functional instructions. It really worked. I have a note 12.2 which showed me this error message, but thanks to your post, now I get to mirror my screen into my LG TV. I hope everyone with the same problem get to reach this instructions to fix this matter.

I got it to work! I also have a WiFi Note Pro 12.2 and could not get this to work on my Samsung TV, despite that I CAN make it work from my Note 4.

Here's what I did to fix it:
-I updated the 'AllShare Cast Dongle S/W Update' from 'Galaxy Apps'
-Restarted (very important!)
-Start the screen mirroring via settings or drop-down. Either way it works now!

I hate Samsung bloat, so I ignored the update because I don't have a dongle. It turns out that the update is for the external-dongle or the built-in dongle you cannot see inside Samsung devices equipped with screen mirroring.

Finally, despite having installed the S/W update several times unsuccessfully, I failed to realize that you must RESTART otherwise it won't work (and then I proceeded to uninstall the update thinking that I don't need it, and therefore perpetuating the broken screen-mirroring).

Good luck!

Don't think MHL is much of a standard to the guys that make them...

Isn't MHL something completely different to screen mirroring: screen mirroring is a wifi process: mhl is a USB to HDMI cable adapter process.
