Galaxy Note5 latest software update requiring swipe and PIN

Latest software update (6.0.1) has me swiping and entering PIN to unlock screen; I only had to enter PIN before update was installed; any way to get out of the additional swiping requirement?

My guess is that if you use a Pin or Password to lock your phone if you were taken directly to the Pin/Password page which automatically brings up a keyboard you would not be able to access your phone, camera, or Samsung Pay app from the lock screen without first dismissing the keyboard.

Since the update (today) I have to swipe THEN entre my pin as well. Not happy.

Same for me but ONLY one time after I restart the phone. Otherwise it's just the pin.
