Hello,
I have the *unlocked* AT&T S10+ G975U
It has been working fine for the last few months, but just recently after a phone restart the network bar changed into a "No Service" icon i.e. a circle with a diagonal slash

Wifi works, but doesn't connect to the network

I've tried several fixes, all in vain
- factory reset & network reset
- tried turning radio on via *#*#4636#*#*
- tried these codes too *#197328640# & *#0011# *#06# - imei still shows and isn't null
- tried safe mode
- flashed firmware from AT&T to U1 unlocked firmware via Odin
- Tried different sim cards & they work in my Galaxy S9 (the sim is detected on the s10+ but doesn't connect to the network tower)

I think I've exhausted most software fixes

I'd appreciate more software and hardware fixes

Thanks

Hi, welcome to AC!
Can you try your sim card in another phone?
Did you flash to att firmware see if it works ?

Hey, thanks

Yes I tried the sim card in another phone and it works, ruling out sim issues.

I can't seem to find att firmware links online, it's the only thing I haven't been able to do

Welcome to Android Central! What network are you trying to use it on -- AT&T or some other one?

Ok, which one? I just want to cross-check the bands that phone supports with the ones your current carrier uses.

Att firmware are hard to get, you can get Tmobile and flash or unlocked don't matter because sane build for all

Yeah , can also try resetting network in settings>generalmanagement>reset >reset settings

Yea also tried that in vain,

Btw the phone can detect the sim card, and automatically pick up the apn setting to the correct Kenyan one but it won't connect to the network

I had it unlocked from the ATNT website, is it possible the phone locked?

It was working before so it should be sim unlocked

Check with your carrier to see if they made any changes recently. Maybe more restrictions on certain devices.

I managed to open the phone up, checked the internals for any possible damage. I found the Sub Antenna near the receiver dislodged, I soldered it back on carefully. Still won't pick up any network signals. Stuck on the No Service icon. Looks I'm stuck with a media device without the phone functionality
