Does anyone know if there is a Galaxy S3 battery upgrade that does not require a new, larger battery cover/case? I have an Otterbox that I'd like to keep on it and modifying the case to fit a larger battery seems unlikely. Thanks in advance!

You will only get a couple of 100s mah and pay a couple of $10s so why bother.

You'll find lots of batteries on Amazon and ebay that claim to offer higher capacity in the same size package. The rules of chemistry say it isn't so. In my experience, these aftermarket batteries offer less capacity than the OEM, not more. If you really want extra juice, you're going to need a larger battery, a spare battery, or an external battery pack.

There really would be 0 point in paying for a battery that will only give u a few more maH than what you have, just to keep your device feeling light

Either buy a second battery, or throw away that Otterbox like I did and get yourself great battery life
