Galaxy S3 isn't showing up in recovery on Kies, why?

Galaxy s3 isnt showing up in recovery on Kies

So I was trying to unroot my phone since it came rooted when I got it, and suddenly in the middle of the firmware updating on Kies my laptop crashed. My phone says "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again" but when I go into the Firmware emergency recovery thing on Kies my phone doesnt show up like it's supposed to.
