Nvidia is the leader in GPU processing and super computers with their Tesla series. It seems to me it's only a matter of time that Nvidia will have the best mobile processors with amazing GPU units.

The Mali 400 on the Galaxy S3 has two cores, if I'm not mistaken. I'm confused how that stacks up against the GForce 12core Tegra 3. The Tegra 4 will likely have more. If a game/app is customized for the Tegra shouldn't it be better?

I'm wondering if I should get the Galaxy S3 next month or wait for the Tegra 4.

My options are the Galaxy S3 next month or wait for the Tegra 3+ or Tegra 4.

it doesnt make any difference between Quad core and Dual core as long that the benckmarks shows higher/faster rates then the rest the phone will be at the top but in the meantime for some reason the Mail400MP are on top then Nvidia

Aren't those throughput figures debateable? Are they even consistant? Wouldn't it depend on the app or game? I guess buy the device after comparing the two with the similar apps.

well usually the comperision is the most common usage
Web/Open GL which basicly covers all the basis..

Here's the skinny.....

Tegra 3 games are really good because nVidia pays the dev to code specifically for their hardware. Is it good hardware? Absolutely.

Is the Exynos technically better hardware? Yes. It's built on a smaller process with a faster GPU, which gives it a leg up.

The Tegra 3+ will have higher clock speeds and LTE built-in, but still the same process (according to the info we've seen so far).

By the time the Tegra 4 (or whatever it's going to be called) comes out we'll also have the Exynos 5 and OMAP 5, both of which are going to be based on A15 and will be extremely competitive with Tegra 4. Also, we'll be seeing the quad-core Snapdragon S4 with the Adreno 320 in it around them, too.

If you're really into gaming on your phone then look at what's available for the Tegra, and if you like that get a phone based on that. Just because the Exynos is faster doesn't mean the Tegra 3 is slow, and it doesn't mean the Exynos is better for gaming.

You're awesome! Thanks so much.

Agreed 1000%. There will always be competitive processors, devices, browsers, etc.. Comparing the Tegra3(and above) to the Exynos(and above) is like comparing Intel and AMD or AMD and Nvidia. Each have legs up in certain areas and will continue to battle back and forth until one goes out of business and is bought for it's patents.
