Galaxy S3 owners is the S5 a good enough upgrade for you needs?

I have an S3 currently, and it's a fantastic device for my needs. It may not be so much for someone else's. I will most likely upgrade to an S5 when I'm due.

I cracked the screen of my S3 a couple weeks ago and have been experiencing increasinly worse battery life. I was looking forward to the S5 announcement, but was a bit underwhelmed. I'm considering going with the Z2 instead, or waiting for details on the One-2. An additional concern is I'm with Verizon and plan on staying there, and they're infamously slow at adopting new phones. There are rumors they might get the Z2, but nothing official. I assume they'll get the S5, but a month later than everyone else. Who knows on the One-2.

They got the One like 6 months after everyone else :-\
I thought the Experia Z line only worked on GSM carrier, meaning no VZW or Sprint
