Galaxy S4: Apps getting randomly deleted?

Hi guys,

My s4 seems to delete specific apps an example of this would be SwiftKey. The past 6 weeks it's deleted 3 times.

Anyone have an idea what the cause could be?

What exactly do you mean by deleted - uninstalled completely? Disappearing from your options but still installed? Not showing up as the default keyboard but still appearing in options and still installed? or something else?

Completely Un-installed. I have to go back to install the apps. Press app is another one.

By install the app, do you mean download and install from the Google Play Store?

Sorry, I was meant to say that in my last post. Yes I go back into Google Play and install it again, it's very strange.

Just so you know, I think i found the culprit. Certain apps allow you to put them on the sd card however specific ones seem to delete when put there. If you notice apps deleting just leave them on the internal storage.

Maybe this ties into the SD card corruption issue some people are experiencing. Have you noticed issues with anything else, like music, stored on your SD card?

Apps Randomly Deleted - I've been having this problem for past 6 months on my rooted and unlocked
GNex running JB and KK custom ROMs. At first it was just paid apps, which seemed to suggest it was Google Play Store having issue with my apps being purchased under 2 different Google accounts. I never moved the apps from system to SD card.
Now it's more random. Newly installed free apps go missing, too. When an app disappears, any content associated with it disappears as well. For example my podcast client, BeyondPod, was working on my device Saturday night, and Sunday morning, it was gone, along with all my podcasts, accounts, and settings.
Not only do I have to re-download and install the app, I have to re-download my content - a huge pain in the @#&!
Another time, it was my paid calendar app - Calengoo , the Amazon MP3 app and all my music, Titanium Backup PRO, ROM Manager, etc. WTF!
The only signs left behind were 'corpses' (leftover files and directories in various locations.)
Now, when I reinstall my apps I often get "Insufficient memory" error, and have to go into data/app-lib, and delete duplicate .lib files.
I'm baffled, and this is the first topic I've found that sounds like anyone else is experiencing the same problem.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

i m facing the same problem, apps installed on tablet disappeared when i change the profile in rooted tablet. it get installed and it works , but when i restart after power off or i shift to other profile, only the shortcut logo remains on desk. when i click the apps on desk the message comes as" apps isn't installed . when i checked in the setting , the apps missing from the installed memory completely i.e in internal memory and sometime some cache remains and then it has to be remove by uninstalling as usual to remove this cache and other thing is that my tablet shows storage is running out even there is storage is available . it sometime shows lots of space in internal memory or some it shows less memory.
