I hope I'm putting this in the right forum...

We are on Verizon grandfathered unlimited data, and purchase older phones off contract.
My phone: HTC incredible ver. 1 3G
Wifes: Samsung nexus

My wife and I used use our HTC Incredible ver. 1 phones with a sleek G3 booster while camping. We either toggle the hotspost on for the trip or use foxfi on the nexus. The first few years this set-up worked well. The last number of years not so much. It will still usually get a one bar boost (from no bars) but the speeds are pretty much useless. Tried my wifes nexus in the 3g sleek and it was no better. I looked up our camping spots on the verizon coverage map and it looks like most of our spots are now covered by 4G.

We are considering getting a 4G sleek to see if that helps the nexus. And/or getting me a 'new'/old 4Gphone to use with the sleek.

I have received some input from a person who said his nexus didn't work well at all with their 4G sleek but his wifes Galaxy S5 received a very good boost and had a fast connection in the 4G areas.

I don't really have the budget to purchase a used S5.

So my specific question is does the S4 have the same radio/antenna set-up as the S5? In other words can I purchase an S4 and expect the same performance when using the 4g sleek as the S5 is said to have?

Thanks
