Galaxy s4 seems suddenly quieter

Hey all

I'm new to owning a smartphone and relatively recently picked up a galaxy s4 on AT&T

At first it seemed fine. Plenty loud and could hear my notifications.

Then it seemed like suddenly the notifications weren't coming through as loudly and I was missing a lot.

I do have the volume ramped up as much as possible.

Has anyone else had this happen to them? How did you solve it?

Did you check that the notification volume was also turned up?

There may be a problem with your speaker.

Try to restart the phone ... that happened to me sometimes the messages notification sound goes off. Also you can set vibration on for notifications.
