I'm not sure how but my text size on my messages app(and only that app) is too large. Anyone know how to fix it?

Go into settings in the messages app and look for a setting for use volume button for text size. Make sure that is checked. Go into a thread and use volume keys to check. Uncheck after to keep from happening again

Those things work but you cant uncheck the volume to text box otherwise everything will revert back

Thanks, the volume rocker worked to fix the size, but I can't find the setting to disable it (I'm on S3).
lol samsung, what a silly feature. :D:D:D

Open messaging app.
Click on the menu button to pop out a list of options.
You will find "Font Size" listed above "Settings."
Select your choice to adjust the font size depending on your convenience.

These steps are applicable to Galaxy S4

when I go into messaging, I don't find the volume control. I tried just going into volume from the display, but nothing works to reduce my font size in the texting page. Help please

I know it sounds simple but use the volume control buttons to adjust the text size. You are not looking for a menu, just use the volume up and down buttons while a text message is displayed on the screen!
