Galaxy S4 will not charge with original Travel Adapter and USB cable

Hi,

I read a lot about charging issue. Here i have one.

My VZ S4 will not charge with the original travel adapter and USB cable it came with. USB cable looks simple and with nothing printed on it. The Travel Adapter image is attached. I have heard a lot about 2 AMP charger. I am not sure if it is 2 AMP but it came with the S4. Please suggest.

However my S4 charges fine at speed with Nexus 4 USB travel adapter + USB Cable! i wonder why?

Can someone please suggest.

Have you been able to try a different USB cable with the Samsung charger? If not I would give that a shot.
